There are a range of styles and techniques for strategic planning. The best one is the one that works for your organization. Here are a few of the most commonly requested packages. Of course, we’ve got options to meet your unique needs.
The Basics
Does your organization’s strategic plan feel old and rotten? Let us help you plant new seeds and grow! We offer a very reasonably-priced strategic planning package that will help assess the status of your current strategic plan and then work collaboratively with your core team to set up refreshed goals and priorities. Because good things come to those who plan - we’ll schedule 6-month check-ins to help you keep the garden growing.
What happens next:
Two sessions with Board and/or Executive Team (up to 3 hours each)
Draft Strategic Plan
Four sessions with Board Chair and/or Executive Director every 6-months to track implementation (1 hour each)
You have a strategic plan, you have support. So why do you feel like you are all still running around like chickens?
Often organizations need time and capacity to develop priorities, reorganize functions, or simply get aligned internally. We can help you do the work of identifying and prioritizing what needs to happen and when. Oh, and we’ll bring lunch to the meetings.
What happens next:
Interviews with internal team leads (up to 6, 1 hour sessions)
Facilitated Internal Meetings (up to two, 2 hour sessions)
Draft Priorities
Schedule and Implementation Plan
Quarterly Progress Check Ins (up to four, 1 hour sessions)
Deep Thinking
Does your organization need a hard reset? Feel like it’s time to pull all of the weeds and start from bare dirt? Yeah, we know how that feels. It’s ok. Frustration or (even just lack of inspiration) can signal it’s time to pull the brain trust out of the dirt and go look for some blue sky. We’ll meet with you one-on-one to understand what is plaguing the organization, and then pull you together (armed with an assessment) to strategize anew. The work doesn’t end there, we’ll develop a draft plan and then dig into it together. Will this work? Why not? What could happen? What should happen? And then once the plan is in place, we’ll stick around for the harvest (err, implementation).
What happens next:
1:1 interviews (up to 12 individuals or groups)
Assessment and Analysis of Core Issues and Opportunities (market research included)
2-day Strategy Workshop (off site)
Draft Strategic Plan
2-day Implementation Workshop (off site)
4 sessions with Executive Director or Board Chair (90 minutes each)

Yeah, we get it. The office (virtual or otherwise) can make brainstorming cumbersome. Getting some fresh air can add new life to a discussion.
We’ll set up the day and time at your favorite local spot and facilitate a fun and productive brainstorming session. Pizza and beers included.
And as a bonus, we’ll send you an action plan afterwards. (Which is the part that never happens, right?!)
What happens next:
Single facilitated two-hour brainstorming session for up to 12 people
Location and scheduling support
Pizza/tacos and beer (or whatever beverages you want) included
Summary with action steps and responsible persons
